Curt Bentzinger’s unique vision and artistic style has earned him the reputation for being one of the most respected photographers in the community. He captures the moment in nature, people and events. Because of his deep passion for photography, the result is authentic and timeless photographs that showcase symbolic beauty.
Bonné Scott first learned the challenge and joys of watercolors from teacher Robert Reynolds. Although Bonné works in all mediums and from realitsic to abstract, it’s still watercolor that holds her heart. It is this love is all things artistic that led her to opening a teaching stuido in Atascadero.
With experience spanning over 40 years, Bruce Stamp creates exquisite carvings from various hardwoods. He sculpts delightful images of flowing, graceful birds and majestic sea creatures, in both decorative and functional forms. Bruce has shown his work throughout the Western United States winning several awards in wood and sculpture categories.
Deborah Kyle Hintergardt
Deborah Kyle Hintergardt is a Colorist: Her colors are bright and refreshing, her subjects are fun and lively. She says, “For me, painting is intuitive not academic. From subject matter, to color choices, to composition, it’s all about how I feel, what makes me happy, what emotions I want to project.”
Lynette has created Art & Crafts for 25yrs. Lynette’s custom work is original and unique, taking every measure to give her customers their “WoW” factor. She uses a wide variety of mediums, to keep things alive and going. She also works as an interior designer and draftswoman.
George Asdel makes drawings, paintings, lino prints, cards, and poems expressing the humor and wonder he sees in the world. He and his wife Kathie have had galleries in Newfoundland and Pismo Beach. He taught art at our zoo. His art is at The Gallery at Marina Square, Morro Bay. Search his name on the Internet too.
Urged by her son, Judy Uffens tried fused glass and fell in love with the craft. She loves how glass lets her be creative, how she can make either usable art or purely decorative pieces. She specializes in sushi sets, jewelry, platters and artistic display glass pieces.
Karen Boaz-Hernandez has been painting, doing art and furniture pieces for 20 years. Working with designers or home owners, painting her original designs on walls, canvases, or furniture, she is free to bring their wildest dreams to life. Her art and furniture pieces are as varied as the imagination allows.
Karen Clanin is a multitalented artist skilled in many mediums including chainmaille jewelry, watercolor & acrylic painting and photography. She has won numerous awards for her stunning watercolor paintings, won photography competitions and has several magazine covers to her credit. Karen also specializes in pet portraits.
Kira Fluer Olshefski
Kira Fluer Olshefski is an oil paint artist residing in Atascadero. Landscapes and agricultural subjects are represented in Kira’s work. Kira has had the honor of displaying her art in local business and restaurants. Currently, her artwork can be found at the Gallery at Marina Square in Morro Bay.

With 16 years experience, local jewelry artisan, Sue Marble has created a handcrafted collection, designed using only the finest materials and techniques. Every piece is a one of a kind or limited edition piece. Always sophisticated and chic, yet still affordable, they can be found in spas, hotels and wineries.
Paula Schroeder has studied Chinese brush Painting since the 80′s. The work is deceptively simple. A few strokes can evoke the essence of her subject matter. Her paintings are bold and meditative. In the traditional style, she uses sumi ink and watercolors on rice papers.
Robyn Burgess is owner of Robyn Burgess Photography and creator of bicycle inspired chainmaille jewelry. While Robyn specializes in Equine Photography, she does not limit her photography to only horses. The bicycle chain inspired jewelry came about from her family’s love of BMX racing.
Simply Elegant Designs
Atascadero jewelry artist Beverly Brown is passionate about her creations. She has created one-of-a-kind pieces in her lapidary studio, transforming rough slabs of rock into the stars of her jewelry collection. Beverly combines them with intricate wire-wrapping techniques and the result is a unique collection of bracelets, earrings and pendants.
Three Springs Handworks
Mike Rude’s goal as a woodturner is to discover the inner beauty that can be found in a piece of wood and bring it out into full exposure. The lathe-turned pieces that he creates are intended to engage and delight the eye while retaining the fundamental nature of the wood.
Tre Circolo Studio
Greg MacDougall operates his studio on the historical Santa Margarita Ranch. After a career in construction, he took up woodturning, only to realize that it’s one of the thousand skills necessary to assist the wood to realize its true potential as a simple and beautiful object in its second life.
